Solutions Architect/Designer (Web) (Javascript)
Solutions Architect/Designer (Web) (Javascript) required for a leading technology client in The Netherlands on a large-scale, Agile, web-based project. The Solutions Architect/Designer (Web) (Javascript) is an experienced technologist with facility across multiple web application stacks on the Back End and Front End. In this role, the Solutions Architect engages with client stakeholders to understand business, technical, functional and non-functional project requirements, analyses systems landscapes and evaluates and identifies solutions based on objective criteria. The Solutions Architect will possess a passion for the state of the art in technology, an aptitude for hands-on technical problem-solving, a dedication to delivering outstanding customer experiences, and a commitment to teamwork.
Solutions Architect/Designer (Web) (Javascript) skills & expertise:
- Client-focused consultant who effectively articulates proposed positions supported by facts and metrics.
- Responsible for developing prototypes, proof-of-concept demonstrations, reference implementations and best practices guides consistent with modern web and mobile applications industry standards.
- Excellent written communication skills to deliver written reports (eg recommendations, audits, solution designs) to clients and colleagues.
- Expertise in an array of web architectures, including SOA, MVC, MVP, REST
- Experience with HTML5, Javascript and associated frameworks/libraries such as AngularJS, Backbone.js, Ext JS and jQuery, CSS3 and supporting tools like Sass and LESS
- Development tools such as SVN, Git, Stash, Maven, Bamboo, Jenkins, JIRA, test automation using Selenium or Cucumber
- Significant experience working in an agile environment
- Ability to proactively identify and communicate issues and risks to both the project team and the client.
- Assist in best practices development, documentation and knowledge dissemination.
