Description
I am currently recruiting for a RAN Tellabs Service Engineer to support operations related to the Tellabs 8600 product range.
Position is based in Brussels - Belgium and it is long term rolling contract.
Skills/Experience:
- Products: Tellabs/Coriant 8600 series: 8660, 8609, 8630, 8607. (access/edge Routers)
- Current SW release R4.0. (upgrade will be started to FP4.1_SP2)
- Knowledge INM 5.0 (management system) - backup/restore handling, inconsistency checks, preventive maintenance, snapshots
- Configuration management (MSP protection groups, LAG)
- Experience with SW update/upgrades
- Operations and maintenance procedures of Tellabs products and INM
- Advanced troubleshooting experience (fault analysis, workarounds, restoration, OS log, OCAT tool)
- HW replacement procedures
- Performance data creation and analysis
- Transmission design/solution knowledge: ability to review current design weaknesses and propose improvements
- knowledge of minlink TN/PT is also a plus
