6 month contract for a Technical Operations & Cloud Service Delivery engineer
The focus will be driving and enabling business effectiveness and agility by introducing and managing new Cloud technologies to both streamline offerings and provide operational and IT financial efficiency.
Experience
- 4-8 years expertise in the field of IT Service Management and Relationship Management
- Experience working in an multi-supplier environment based on best practice frameworks such as ITIL
- Experience of managing Cloud and SaaS suppliers
- Management of Operations & Change
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and applications technologies
- Experience in handling complex situations and escalations
- Excellent analytical skills with experience of use of root cause analysis tools and techniques
- Project management experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Skills
- Cloud IaaS and PaaS services including; Amazon Web Services, MS Azure, CSC BizCloud, etc.
- Hosting and platform skills; WinTel, Linux, Unix, Midrange, Mainframe
- Good understanding of 1 or more Cloud Orchestration technologies
- Understanding of good practice design for Service Portal user experience is preferable
- General understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and landscape (hardware, telecommunications platforms, networks, Mainframe, midrange, security etc.)
