Description
Our client are a major Swiss manufacturing company, producing pharmaceutical, consumer care and health care products on an international level.Within their growing manufacturing site they are searching for a Manager of Quality Control.
The primary responsibilities of this role will include:
-Overall management of the Quality Control (QC) laboratories
-The release of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products
-The development of specifications for raw materials, intermediates and finished products
-Leadership of a team between 5 and 10 people, including appraisals, hiring and training
To be considered for this role the following skills are required:
-University degree in Chemistry, or a very similar function. Exposure to microbiology is also an advantage
-Multiple years of work experience in a laboratory setting, ideally in the life sciences industry
-Excellent knowledge of HPLC, GC etc
-Strong GMP knowledge is also required
-Fluent in German and English. Both languages are a must.
