Job Title - SAP Consultant (PP - MM)North-East
6 Month Contract
£450 / Day
Job Purpose
To provide global modular SAP support, enhance and maintain, robust and secure systems in order to provide a framework to allow seamless business operations.
Responsibilities
1. Provide support and assistance to end users by the resolution of PP related technical and transactional issues across all national and international sites, in order to maintain a continuous service to the business.
2. Identify gaps, and design, develop and implement solutions in order to enhance business processes.
3. Identify, design & implement PP system solutions on major projects across all national and international sites, in order to achieve a successful SAP implementation of the production process.
4. Support business change by identifying and developing system solutions consistent with application standards.
5. Maintain, develop and enhance ABAP and other objects in SAP systems in order to meet identified process gaps.
6. Provide deputy SAP support for other SAP modules as appropriate, in order to maintain seamless service to the business.
7. Perform integration testing and provide support to the business for regression testing of any changes to new developments in the SAP solution.
8. Provide SAP end user training as required for new and existing users in order to maximise effective and efficient use of the system.
Job related work experience skills/knowledge requirements:
* Demonstrable working knowledge of design and development of SAP PP (desirable) and MM (optional) modules
* Proven experience of working within an SAP project or support team
* Excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of PP integration with other SAP modules
* Familiarity with ABAP / debugging of ABAP programs
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
