C# ASP.Net Developer - Manchester - 6 months - £300 to £320/dayOne of my top clients in the North West are looking for a .Net Developer to come and work on a C# ASP.Net Webforms project working predominantly on the business logic and database layers.
They are 9 months into a long project, monitoring the status of equipment and reporting this back on a web application. With someone already on site focusing more on the front end design and development, someone is needed to continue to work on the business logic layer, with a focus on algorithms.
The web portal is all written in C# ASP.Net Webforms, and are using a lot of WCF to communicate with the external equipment.
The following skills are essential:
C#
ASP.Net
Webforms
SQL Server
WCF/Web Services
Ideally they would look for someone with an engineering background, or at least someone that has worked in that kind of environment before.
All of the hardware for this project is being done by a 3rd party and this will be delivered soon, so some experience interfacing with hardware would be beneficial but definitely not essential.
Rate wise they are happy to pay around the £300 to £320 region for the right person, and this would be for an initial 6 month contract, but with likely chances of extension after this.
