Enterprise Data Architect

Description

I am URGENTLY seeking an Enterprise Data Architect for a blue chip client based in Johannesburg for a 6 month renewable contract.

The key requirements for this role are:
At least 12+ years working experience as an Architect for software development database and Business Intelligence Solutions.
Extensive experience with very large data repositories (terabyte scale or larger).
High level understanding of Hadoop framework and HADOOP Ecosystem.
Map reduce coding.
Good to have experience with one or more of the following: Netezza, GreenPlum, Teradata, MAPR or other large scale data technologies.
Deep understanding of data warehouse approaches industry standards and industry best practices.
Very competent SQL skills for multiple platforms.
Good to have experience on one or more of the following Java Technologies: EAI, SOA, CEP etc.
