Freelance Analyst - European Parliament Luxembourg (via Everis) - 1 year minimum
Everis is a service company partly specialized in offering IT Solutions, and we are at the moment looking to expand the IT Teams of the European Parliament in Luxembourg.
In order to provide advice and assistance in any area associated with procurement, provision, delivery, maintenance, deployment, hosting, and effective use of information systems, we are looking for several analysts. You role will be:
- to provide technical studies, technical expertise, technical evaluations in relation with information systems
- provision of quality plans, service level agreements, quality tests, quality control and evaluation, quality assessments or other quality matters associated with information systems projects
- analysis of user requirements, design of new information systems, development of technical and functional specifications
- analysis of business processes, organisational structures, data flows, production of use case models, software architecture documents, design and analysis models, implementation models
- defining quality, test and acceptance procedures and criteria
- assistance in the implementation of project management methodology
- analysis of information systems portfolio, project planning, risk and cost/benefit analysis
- follow-up of developments
- participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
- technical Interface between the project leader and the developers
Required skills:
- a good knowledge of systems architecture design, development, enhancement and implementation
- a very good experience in analysis
- proven experience with quality procedures
- ability to communicate with senior management and staff at all levels
- tact and diplomacy
- assistance in testing, technical documentation, training, deployment, evaluation and reporting
- in-depth knowledge of development methodologies (for example RUP) and modelling (for example UML)
- languages: French and English are required
