Senior Business Analyst Tax - Our client s looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work on a long term project in Zurich.The role holder is responsible for delivering reliable and efficient IT application engineering services to Wealth as part of Wealth IT Solution Delivery. The The team the role owner works in covers the Wealth IT resources (permanent staff and contractors) based in Zurich who deliver application development (change requests and project work) and support application management (maintenance and incident management).
Tasks:

Business analysis, specification and implementation (parameterisation) in the area of Tax and Trust applications, FATCA and Bilateral Agreements of the Core Banking Application (Avaloq) and 3rd party systems. -
Interface and 3rd party application maintenance -
Incident management and 3rd level support -
Support of tax production runs -
Testing activities during release cycles -
Stakeholder management including business & technical end user consulting -
Change management: Support specific projects within set terms of reference and defined processes providing conclusions and recommendations as required
Skills:

Technical know-how in operating systems, databases and applications -
Oracle database PL/SQL and MS SQL know-how -
Thorough understanding of transactions and static data model in Avaloq -
Avaloq Certification -
English written and spoken -
University degree / Master or equivalent in computer science or engineering -
Experience in business analysis, consulting -
Experience in IT projects / IT project management -
Experience in working in an international team with native and non-native English speakers -
2-3 years of Banking experience in Tax area (Business Know How) -
Experience in Tax applications (either 3rd party or Avaloq) -
Education in banking (preferred) -
Project management (preferred) -
German written and spoken (preferred)
