Operations Manager HPOM v9 HPOV Sitescope PERL SQL (Needed Fast!)
Tasks:
. Manage the HP Operations Manager v9 Production, development and Test environments
. Maintain, install and upgrade central server and agent software.
. Define and create service views
. Manage and maintain smart Plug Ins, Database and Operating system
. Manage distribution of HPOV software within the organisation, ensuring adherence with software compliance regulations
. Provide day to day technical support for the HP Operations Manager v9 environments
. Provide resource to project initiatives requiring HP Operations Manager v9 input on the monitoring of the new system.
. Provide support to internal groups for Capacity Management using OVPM

Job Skills & Knowledge (essential):
. Able to install and configure the core HP Operations Manager products, OM management server, https agent, SNMP traps OVPM performance agent.
. Able to install and configure HP SiteScope.
. Able to maintain and update PERL/SQL management server housekeeping scripts and HPOM administration website scripts
. Able to install and configure Network Node Manager Management server.
. Basic Linux system administrator skills for management server maintenance
Qualifications (essential):
. Educated to GCSE level or extensive knowledge of working at HP Operations Manager v9 Administrator level. (MUST)
. Attendance of OVO Admin 1 and 2 (preferred)
. Attendance of NNM Admin 1 and 2 (preferred)
. Attendance of OVPM and OVPI courses (preferred)
Competencies:
The candidate needs a flexible attitude as the role includes overnight on call and some weekend work with a background in monitoring and experience on HP Operations Manager for Unix v9
