Description
My client is looking for a Sol II Data SME to work across all three pillars of Solvency II mainly focussing on Pillar II. The candidate will preferably have a Solvency II background or have a heavy Data orientated background around data quality governance and control assessments. The SME will be expected to be able to rapidly assimilate a detailed understanding of the relevant business, and its underlying processes and systems, in order to carry out data gathering and data quality analysis to tight project timescales.
Accountabilities
- To complete the necessary Data Gathering according to project timescales
- To complete the necessary Data Quality & Control assessments according to project timescales
- To ensure that constructive relationships and dialogue are maintained at all times with SMEs both within the target entity and within the Solvency II programme
- Relevant Data Gathering, Data Quality and Data Control experience in the general insurance industry
- Solvency II experience highly desirable
- Any relevant finance qualification is highly desirable
- Good understanding of General Insurance risk & financial data and its business purpose
- Attention to detail and high integrity are critical
- Solid knowledge, exposure & experience in a large General Insurance company environment, good understanding of corporate processes
- Experience of change in a strongly business focussed project/programme within a large corporate environment
- The ability to manage & develop relationships with project stakeholders across multiple locations for successful delivery
- Experience of business analysis, process analysis and gap analysis and advantage
- Good working knowledge of Project management disciplines
- Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel, is expected
