Informatica Solution Architect - Technical Architect - DWH
Key Skills: Informatica - DWH - ETL - TERADATA - UNIX - Shell Scripting - PL/SQL
You will be working with one of the largest telecommunications operators as an Informatica expert.
You will be responsible for developing new and additional designs for the Informatica DWH in the telecommunications sector.
Technologies used:
- Informatica
- Teradata
- Microstrategy
Essential:
- 5 years+ working experience in Informatica ETL tool. Designing ETL Interfaces into the database.
Desirable:
- Experience delivering projects via agile methodology
- 7 years+ of experience in DWH domain, developing and supporting star schema, DWH ETL processes and PL/SQL
- 2 years+ experience working as a Senior Designer/Technical Architect role
- 3 years+ experience working with the Teradata database (if the candidate has outstanding ETL skills, this may not be required, but is highly desirable)
- Expertise in UNIX, Shell Scripting, PL/SQL
- Work experience in Telecommunications sector
- Working knowledge of Microstrategy reporting tool
Responsibilities include:
- Review ETL & BI technology options within the defined strategic solutions to ensure the right tools are leveraged for the right purpose
- Design data & information architecture (Logical Data Model, Metadata, High Level ETL & Semantic Layer)
- Develop a thorough understanding of and validate/assess business and technical requirements, BI infrastructure, architecture, standards and processes, related to the system
- Collaborate with the client's Enterprise Architecture Group and Architecture Review Board to manage the alignment of the proposed system and platform changes in conformance with the client's architecture, vision, standards and best practices
- Build high level functional and technical design
- Transition technical design to the development team, and support them during the development process
- Provide leadership to the test team
