This is a quick freelancing gig.What is needed: A seamless workflow between local environment, GitHub and production server.
Here’s what I’ve done so far: I implemented the excellent WP skeleton structure by Mark Jaquith: https://github.com/markjaquith/WordPress-Skeleton . So now I work locally (with MAMP) and push my commits to GitHub. Next, using DeployHQ service, I automatically deploy any master changes to my production server on Arvixe. That’s nice.
However, the setup or configuration on the production server needs a-fixing. Some pages are broken. Thus, I need help to get the production server WP configuration fixed. I got no time (or sufficient knowledge) to do it myself quickly.
Importantly, I need somebody with good written, spoken English communication skills so that you can clearly document and explain to me what you’ve done. (I need to learn. :-))
The task is rather urgent. I propose the payment on a sliding scale. If completed in less than 24 hours from accepting the job, the payment will be $200–after successfully acceptance testing your work. If completed in more than 24 hours but less than 48 hours, then $150. If more than 48 hours are needed, then $100. I seriously hope more than 2 days should not be necessary for a knowledgeable WP developer or admin, especially for somebody who knows what I’m talking about here.
All the admin access to files, repositories, databases, CPanel etc. will be provided of course. I will also take care of promptly interfacing with my host (Arvixe) if they need to do anything (although I doubt it).
