Software Test Engineer
(Location: Katowice)
Software Test Engineer to be responsible for test activities in R&D and customer projects. The product portfolio includes tools for diagnostic and maintenance of railway wayside and on-board products (MDC).
This project will last for three months and starts at November 2014.
Responsibilities:
• Integration test environment
• Building test script
• Developing and execute software test plans
• Implementing unit and integration tests
• Preparing test documentation
• Analyze test results and recommending corrective action
• Cooperating with engineers from other countries
Key Competencies & Behaviours
• At least 1 year of experience as a tester
• Knowledge of software engineering, iterative process planning and quality process
• Knowledge of JUnit, Jenkins, Maven, SVN
• Relational database knowledge (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Version control management tools and processes
• Ability to work in Linux
• Experience in executing automated tests
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Software engineering, Electronics engineering or similar
• Good English
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of Java EE, Apache Ant
• Knowledge of technologies: Java EE, JSP, JMS, HTML5, Android, Windows
• Experience in requirement and change management
• Experience in continuous integrations and test environments
