Description
A SQL Server DBA is required to join my client in Hull. The SQL Server DBA will be tasked with the maintenance and performance of the clients databases.The right SQL Server DBA will have the following skills:
- Performance tuning, optimisation, backups, restores
- 5+ years working in similar DBA roles (production environment preferred)
- High availability skills such as clustering, log shipping, replication etc.
- Scripting skills
- Exposure to developmental tools such as SSIS/SSAS would be highly beneficial
- Ability to work varying hours when required
- Agile and Waterfall methodologies (preferrable but not essential)
- Financial background beneficial
