An opportunity has come up to work with a very strong client in the Water industry to be a CDM Coordinator during a 6 month project.

Typical examples of required functions being: -
  • provide contractors with information about the project so that they can work safely and without risks to health;
  • ensure good co-operation and co-ordination between all parties involved in the project works;
  • check that other contractors identify, assess and manage relevant risks to health; and
  • make sure that suitable welfare facilities are in place before work starts on site.
  • identify the full range of health risks that arise from the work;
  • manage occupational health risks on site; and
  • oversee other contractor's management arrangements.


Your health and safety plan should:
  • set out the arrangements that are needed to manage health risks and co-ordinate the work on site. [1]
  • be tailored to the specific project and not just a collection of generic assessments;
  • be ready before the installation phase starts; and
  • describe arrangements for controlling significant health risks, including:


o manual handling;

o hazardous substances; and

o noise and vibration.

These works are notifiable to HSE and will form part of the CDMC role.

You must have the following qualifications/Experience:

* Worked on Water Frameworks/Treatment Plants/Sewerage or Sludge projects.

* Have a NEBOSH Construction, RMaPS, and a very good knowledge of CDM Regulations & Documents.
