My client a leading Local Authority, based in Manchester or Liverpool require an Education Advisor to ensure that children on free school meals and other groups are appropriately tracked and monitored and their educational outcomes supported and challenged.

This role will support the Virtual School for Children in Care (CIC) to improve educational outcomes, supporting with initiatives and projects that will significantly accelerate educational progress.

This will be accomplished by championing the needs of children in care and those on free school meals and by working in partnership with schools, colleges, providers or directly with young people and their families.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with stakeholders in all sectors from across the Borough in order to meet objectives and deliver service improvements including schools and colleges, in particular head teachers, NTG lead teachers, education and fostering teams, children, parents, social workers and foster carers.
