My client is currently experiencing an increase in its recruitment workload and HR business partners need additional dedicated support to ensure that we maintain high quality and professional recruitment support to the business. They are therefore seeking an experienced interim recruitment advisor - initial for a period of up to three months, with the possibility of an extension to the end of March 2015 - to work within the HR team, reporting to and supporting two HR business partners in all recruitment activity.

Duties:
The Advisor will provide support to HR business partners and recruiting managers to help us ensure recruitment is timely, effective, meets organisational needs and follows all the necessary procedures, including:
* Assisting line managers in preparing candidate briefs that clearly identify business and person requirements and promote the benefits of working;
* Ensuring that all necessary approvals and consents are obtained, and digitally filed as appropriate;
* Liaising with our recruitment partner (Penna) to ensure recruitment schemes are advertised promptly and properly and effectively managed;
* Keeping our recruitment management information reports up-to-date;
* Arranging sifts and interviews with line managers and providing line managers with expert recruitment advice and support; and
* Providing other logistical support as required.

Person Specification - qualifications, skills and experiences
* Significant experience of managing recruitment processes and providing expert advice and support to recruiting line managers;
* Strong inter-personal skills enabling the Advisor to effectively manage relationships with recruitment managers, whilst ensuring that they follow all necessary policy and procedures;
* An eye for detail and the ability to quickly appreciate and interpret business requirements;
* Organised and self-disciplined;
* Ideally, some experience of Civil Service requirement procedures and the recruitments of the Civil Service Commission (including knowledge of the Civil Service Commission's recruitment principles)
