For our customer we are looking for a Customer and Counterparty data governance lead - TRY & HIRE

We are looking for a Data Governance lead with strong skills and interests in the area of information management, data governance and simplification.

As a Data governance lead for customer and counterparty data you will play an important role in making sure that customers and counterparty data meets the requirements of the future. As part of the Simplification journey we need to work much better with governing one of our key assets and now we are looking for an experienced manager to take on the challenge.

Main tasks in the short run are:

- Ensure Retail as part of the Nordea data governance structure
- Establish data governance processes for Retail Banking (local and Nordic) based on the already implemented Group - wide process
- Establish main principles (rules, policies and controls) for data governance
- Establish way-of-working for data governance processes

You will work in close co-operation with other key people in RB operations and Digital banking as well as with colleagues in other business areas.

The longer term target is that you have created a set up that is well working across the business areas and covers the needs for Retail banking in local and Nordic dimensions.

You will represent Retail Banking in the group wide data council and run the Retail Banking data governance council practicalities. Your mandate covers the whole of Retail Banking.

Description of the needed key competencies needed.

You probably have a background as line manager or as a project manager and you feel comfortable in working with aligning complex processes and creating well working, practical set- ups. You drive to achieve and really deliver results.

You are interested in both how our data is used in the Banking business in the optimal way but also where and how data is stored. You are interested in data's life cycle and data quality. You have a good network in the Bank and you know how to use that to achieve your goals. You are very self-driven and have the ability to get things done in a pragmatic way.

The work has many stakeholders in all business areas and you will need to be very good at communicating clearly with many different kind of stakeholders.

Description of department:

Customer and Counterparty is a part of Retail Banking IT and provide for example applications and services within the customer and counterparty master data domain to support partners. The department today has several delivery teams that develop solutions in close cooperation with Retail Banking and other areas in the bank. We are located in Copenhagen, Fredericia, Gothenburg, Stockholm and Helsinki and also have an extended delivery team in India. This position can be located in any of these locations. We support business partners across the whole of the bank, which means that you must expect some travel.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months TRY - and then HIRE as a permanent employee at our customer

Location: Copenhagen, Fredericia, Gothenburg, Stockholm or Helsinki
