Specifics required:

  • Experience in installation & configuration of Alliance Access & Alliance Gateway including associated software/hardware components such as Alliance Workstation, Webstation, & HSMs.
  • Experience in supporting SwiftNet services including FIN, Browse & FileAct.
  • Experience with supporting applications running under Citrix.
  • Experience with security protocols supporting Swift environments.
  • Good understanding of Unix and comfortable with issuing unix commands.
  • A demonstrable working knowledge of technical environments and databases including Windows, Unix, Oracle & SQL Server.
  • Experience in using MQ & file transfer mechanisms for interfacing with Back Office applications from Alliance Access and Alliance Gateway; also familiar with Alliance Access printing.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the processes involved in a technical support area and ideally have some experience working in such an environment.
  • Have good communication and organisational skills.

  • Implementation of parameter changes to the live environment.
  • Diagnosing problems and identifying potential solutions to production issues ensuring timely resolution of issues and provide regular updates to users.
  • Liaise with relevant technical teams, service delivery teams, vendors and customer representatives where necessary.
  • Working with business users to agree business requirements and deliver enhancements to supported applications.
  • Installation, configuration, upgrade planning and implementation of business critical systems.
  • Support execution of all test phases by preparing the required IT environments. Perform System and Regression testing for business critical systems.
  • Ensure all required technical, procedural and informational documentation is current and fit for purpose.
