QA Engineer - Belgium
Location: Antwerp, Belgium

Job Type: Contract/Freelance
Duration: 6 months (possible extension)
Languages: English (essential), Dutch (beneficial)
Daily Rate: €400-€425
My client is a leading Belgian organisation and they are looking to recruit a QA Engineer to be based in their office in Antwerp, Belgium.
The QA Engineer will be responsible for the aspects:
- Act as central knowledge PoC for customer end-to-end scenarios and/or test plans
- Perform acceptance validation of software and products under development
- Follow-up on projects and be the PoC between the business and customer
- Support internal customer field issues by providing solutions, information and demonstrations.
Skillset & Experience:
- Earlier experience in the field of Embedded software
- Understanding and experience of the following technologies: Ethernet, VLAN, 802.11, ATM, xDSL, IP routing, IPv4 & IPv6
- Understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite (NAT, ALG, VPN, UPnP, DNS, DHCP)
- Hands on Experience of IP Routers, gateways and networks in general
- Previous experience of problem-analysis/troubleshooting
- Any experience with following test tooling is a plus: Wireshark, TestCenter, Spirent, Ixia IxLoad, Ixia Chariot
- Understanding of mobile technologies (3G/4G, LTE) is beneficial
