Equities Application Support Analyst (FIX)
My client is a leading Global Tier 1 Investment Bank; they are looking for an Equities Application Support Analyst. You will be part of the growing application support group, this sits specifically within the equity's area. The team are imperative to the smooth day to day running of this Global Investment Bank, as your team are the first port of call for any support issues relating to the equity division of the bank. This will include being first line support and understanding the behaviour of the systems, escalating where necessary to the development teams. It is vital that you have the following:
A solid knowledge of FIX, using on a daily basis
- Strong knowledge of Unix and a good level of SQL knowledge
- Previous Equities Experience, specifically within Equity cash or derivatives.
- Scripting knowledge (Perl, ksh, HTML and XML)
It is vital that you have previous working experience of equities. You will be comfortable speaking with all levels of seniority and interfacing with traders. This position requires someone that will enjoy the mixture of both the technical and the business side.
You will be proactive, with great time management skills. In this role it is high pressure working on the front line of support.
