Description
A new role has become available within a leading finance company based in a great City location. You would be joining a strong technical team of 3 engineers, however working very closely with the other Infrastructure teams.You would be responsible for 2nd and 3rd line support as well as up and coming projects. The team does run strict compliance processes & procedures.
You would get to work on a wide range of technologies including Windows Server, Vmware, Citrix, SAN Storage, SCCM & Cisco networking. The technical landscape is large with over 300 virtual servers alone.
The working environment is friendly and sociable with a fantastic opportunity to be exposed to a huge range of technologies as above. The right person will be eager, ambitious and willing to get stuck in and learn as much as possible.
Skills & knowledge required:
Windows Server
Vmware 5.1/ Citrix 6.5
Good understanding of Networking technologies (they run a Cisco environment)
The working hours are 9-5.30pm
