Big Data Scientist
A Big Data Scientist is required for global giant based in Dublin West. The Big Data Scientist will be part of a growing team and be involved with large enterprise projects
12 month contract

Roles and Responsibilities:
Work with relevant stakeholders to deliver appropriate Business Intelligence, data warehousing, reporting and analytical infrastructure required to support management teams and analysts.
Prioritize and communicate user needs, make recommendations and drive implementation for product or process changes.
Work with large data sets, automate data extraction, build monitoring/reporting dashboards and high/value, automated Business Intelligence solutions (data warehousing and visualization).
Skills required:
. Extensive experience solving Big Data analytic problems using quantitative approaches and a proven passion for generating insights from data.
. Experience in manipulating and analysing complex, high/volume (large data sets), high/dimensionality data from varying sources.
. Skills in Analytics tools/Mahout, MatLAB and SAS rather than specific BI reporting tools (BO, Qlikview, Tableau), someone who could assist and give guidance to us on how to go about designing a model, how do you build and get insights from the data
. 3/5 plus years of experience
