Description
An experienced Quantity Surveyor is required for a urgent project in the airport sector.
Your Task:
*Seeking a full time Quantity Surveyor/Project Buyer experienced in the Construction/Materials Handling industry or M&E background.
*The ideal candidate will work collaboratively as part of a dedicated Project Team with the ability to use their own initiative
*Excellent communication skills
*Reacting to the day to day demands of a large project and provide support to the Commercial and Supply Chain Manager
*Evaluation of Change Control
*Measurement and valuation of Payment Applications
*Good understanding of On-Site processes and procedures
Your Qualification:
*Preference for third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent degree
*Five years PQE Quantity Surveying/Project Procurement experience
*Effective written and verbal communication skills
*Able to deal with internal/external stakeholders on all levels
*Experience of working on site in a live Project environment
*Ability to deal with Subcontractors and Suppliers whilst acting in the best commercial interests of the business
*Commercially astute
*Good organisation skills
*Ability to deal with change
