C# WCF-Winforms-WPF / Fixed Income / Contract / London / £500-£600pdMy client a top tier investment bank but this will be working in their Asset Management team based in central London is looking C# Developer with strong front to back development experience with a Fixed Income background to join their expanding team.
What the role will entail:
This is an exciting time within the Fixed Income IT team as we are embarking on several large change initiatives, designed to change the user experiences with the Fixed Income platform. You will be part of a global team with developers located in London and Chicago. As part of the SCRUM team, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and coding enterprise applications and tools using various Microsoft and third party technologies.
We are looking for a senior hands-on technologist who is passionate about technology and building/customizing applications while using multiple tools/languages to create best in class enterprise level solutions.
Successful candidates will have the following experience:
- 7 - 10 years of overall development experience building Enterprise grade applications
- 5+ years of development experience in .NET using C#, with experience in C# 4.0/4.5 being highly desirable.
- SQL - 7 years minimum
- Agile development experience (Scrum or XP)
- WCF
- WinForms and/or WPF, Recent experience in the development of all tiers of an enterprise application: GUI (Win Forms/WPF), Services (WCF), relational database (SQL-Server or Oracle), messaging (TIBCO or MQ) and data integration
- Test Driven Development (TDD) using NUnit or equivalent, Write high quality code using test-driven development (TDD) practices
- Multi threading, parallel programming
- SubVersion/TortiseSVN/Ankh
- Messaging (TIBCO or MQ)
- Database Design
- SCRUM Master certification
- Experience in database performance tuning, including database design and SQL
- Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).
- Experience with Fixed Income applications and/or trade order management systems
They're offering a 6 month rolling contract on a day rate between £500-£600pd. They're looking at taking someone on in the next 1-4 weeks time, so if your interested please email me your up to date CV.
