Research Controller
This is really one of those opportunities that you come across on rare occasions... Are you sitting down? ...I will assume you are now! This is not a stagnant role; but a role you will be able to involve and make your own.
As Research Controller you will be responsible for leading the Customer Closeness team and being hands/on with projects.
Specific responsibilities will include:
. Ensure that the team delivers all research on time and to the high quality expected by Sky, with a particular focus on simplifying the outputs for a busy business audience (so results are easy to digest and action)
. Ensure that the methodological approaches used are appropriate and robust, to enable multi/million pound business decisions to be made with confidence
. Coach the individuals within the team to ensure that they are learning and developing and remaining motivated in a high/paced, high/pressure environment
. Incorporate engaging techniques and communications to land consumer insight across Sales and Marketing
. Collaborate with all members of the wider Sand I team, particularly the quant research team to share learnings and provide joined up recommendations
. Ensuring a thorough understanding of Sky products, services and campaigns whilst maintaining regular contact with key stakeholders
Essential
. Extensive experience across qualitative and quantitative research methods
. Strong leadership and team management skills
. Confident moderator in viewed situations
. Desire and passion for innovation and continuous improvement
. Exceptional attention to detail

. Strong communication skills
. Problem/solving and creative thinker
. Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines within a highly dynamic environment
