Finance/SRO Officer - Government - Reporting
Main Purpose
Under the direction of the Senior Responsible Officer/Finance team undertake a variety of reporting functions across the programme.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the SRO with day to day tasks, diary management, printing papers etc.
- Provide, manage and maintain the reporting framework, tools, templates and guidance
- Ensure an accurate and up to date record of project status and approvals is maintained
- Manage the organisation of governance meetings to a high standard of accuracy in a high pressure environment ensuring the SRO is always fully up to speed with latest information
- Quality assurance of all papers submitted to the governance forums
- Manage the forward look to ensure good planning of future meetings
- Manage a decisions and outcomes log and communicate this across the programme
- Manage the update and clearance of actions from meetings specific to the SRO
- Assistance and support to the Finance Lead as required
Essential Criteria
- Experience of reporting and governance support role in a high paced team;
- Good organisational skills;
- Ability to multi task and act on own initiative;
- Experience of working with managers at all grades, often Senior;
- Experience in Microsoft Packages, Excel, Outlook, Word.
