System Administrator - Swindon - 6 MonthsRole: System Administrator
Location: Swindon
Day rate: £275-£350 per day dependant on experience
Contract length: 6 Months
Start Date: December 2014
Computer Futures have an opportunity for a Systems Administrator to join a large organisation in Swindon immediately.
This employer is has established themselves as the UK market leader in their field, with continued growth across the UK. Due to sheer growth the employer now require a System Administrator to work along side their existing members of staff focusing on the deployment of IT technology, datacentre migrations and maintenance of their current user base.
Key Skills Required:
- Solaris Environment essential
- Linux skills, Oracle Enterprise Linux ideally (Red Hat or CentOS desirable)
- Experience of rolling out Virtualisation experience essential
- Experience of container management useful e.g. Docker
- Package and Configuration management tools, e.g. Puppet, Chef, Ansible, RPM
- Knowledge of data storage, sharing and security
- OS maintenance - security patching
- Experience of PCI very useful, but not essential.
