Senior Java Developer
My client is looking for a Lead Java Engineer contract position in a global leading telecom software house. Daily rates are circ. € for the right candidate this can be discussed further. This will be an initial 6 month contract with the view to extend. In their offices in Dublin West.
You will be working in a leadership capacity, acting as line manager to software developers, designers and engineers, taking ownership of specific complex tasks, and working them through to completion. You will be involved with the creation and review of Functional Spec. Documents, and be able to design and implement a complex module.
Requirements:
- A number of years Java Development experience in a UNIX environment. Working in a leadership role is a bonus.
- Enterprise Java 5 or 6.
- JEE development using Hibernate.
- Database Development - SQL, PL/SQL, NO-SQL
- Java Spring Framework.
- RESTful Webservices
- Web Security with Web Apps.
- JEE Development using Hibernate.
- GUI Java Frameworks.
- Telecoms experience, OSS and BSS, protocols such as diameter.
- Agile Methodology.
