Data Warehouse Developer required to join a global software house based in London. The company deals heavily in data; as such the business includes a number of data warehouses that form an integral part of the IT solutions.
The Data Warehouse Developer will play a key role in the DWH team by designing and developing solutions for the business, and ensuring the end user requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the production data warehouse systems
- Resolving Service Requests that are raised to the DWH team
- Liaising with end users to determine and agree requirements for new DWH functionality
- Estimating DWH design and development effort
- Designing and building DWH solutions to meet business requirements
- Testing DWH solutions to ensure that requirements are satisfied
- Producing detailed technical design and operational documentation
Experience:
- DWH development using SQL andPL/SQL
- DWH modeling especially Ralph Kimball's Data Warehousing methodology
- VLDB (100 million row plus) exposure and experience
