My client based, in the Suffolk, area are a global leader within the Oil & Gas industry who design and develop solutions and safety products for rotating equipment. They are looking to grow their team by adding a Senior Compliance Engineer.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multinational organisation who are growing their UK presence by increasing their engineering department. This means you will be working very closely with the VP of Engineering and Global Sustaining Leader.
The Role Function includes:
- Undertake CE marking assessments against European standards and directives
- Undertake assessment and certification of N. American and Canadian standards
- Compile and maintain technical files to demonstrate product compliance
- Create and maintain Declaration of Conformity/Incorporation for each product
- Liaise with notified bodies such as SIRA, CSA, UL, TUV as required
- Plan and execute all necessary testing programs
- Participate in design, change management and product development processes for new and existing products
- Work with Product Management to ensure long term development of product lines certification and compliance with evolving demands
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Knowledge of ATEX, NEC 500 and 505, Machinery and Pressure Equipment, ASME, Pressure vessel codes and their requirements for compliance and certification
