The client has an ambitious 3G/4G rollout program in .
The RF design engineer will join the radio network design team which ensures detailed network design according to the needs at a horizon of 2/3 years and address possible evolutions that may impact substantially the roll out plan.
Task Description
The client has an ambitious rollout plan in 2014 for 3G and LTE which will require a lot of changes in the network.
Your job is to design the best mobile access network to ensure the best coverage and performance taking into account technical, business, legal and budget requirements.
In more practical terms the work consist of
Participate in discussions with different stakeholders (ex. business teams) to define the requirements/needs.
Provide design guidelines and recommendations (ex. roll-out prioritization criteria)
Participate in the evaluation of new solutions/technologies.
Capacity management follow-up.
The profile we look for
You have a proven track record in dealing with RF design.
Sufficient technical background in the RF domain (2G, 3G, 4G, antennas).
Knowledge of Huawei equipment is a plus.
You also have good communication skill and are a team player.
You are methodical and organized, creative, positive and taking initiative.
Language: Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
