Position: ICT Channel Sales Director

Budget: Negotiable

Location: Johannesburg

Duration: 1 year initial contract

Experience Required: 12-15++

We are seeking a ICT Channel sales director for our client in South Africa to open new markets and extend our reach through Channel partners, local distributor, resellers, and other partners. Experience in B2B IT product sales is required. Working with multi-level channels is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit new Channel and resell partners by establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts and closing sales transactions. This will include creating a high volume of activity, partner meetings and occasionally end user meetings as appropriate to support the partner.
  • Nurture the relationships with existing channel partners to grow the overall channel revenue stream. This will include developing and delivering training and coaching to channel partners.
  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities, forecast accurately, and achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets and partner recruitment goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with senior partners (VP and C-level) by proactively identifying partner business objectives, priorities, capabilities and critical success factors.
  • Understand the channel partner organizations, their market, metrics, and strategic goals and matching them to Loqate offering to complement their solutions.
  • Lead in developing a joint go to market strategy, joint product road map to strengthen partner's product offering while leveraging Loqate new functionalities.

Qualifications:

  • Have 15+ years Channel working experiences in IT Distribution.
  • Track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to have strategic discussions with C level executives while delivering on short term objectives
  • Ability to work well in an entrepreneurial environment and wear multiple hats when necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate business value and vision
  • Solution selling experience.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, lean team environment.
