Job Title: M&E Project Engineer (Mechanical bias)Location: Edinburgh
Day rate: Negotiable
Duration: 6-12 Months
Project Information:
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing MEICA and process support to water/waste water related projects throughout Scotland, this positions would suit a mechanical engineer with experience in Chemical Dosing within water, wastewater and process related industries.
- Must be computer literate
- Hold a Mechanical qualification HNC or similar
- Working knowledge of electrical power and distribution would be beneficial.
Tasks will generally include:
- Developing project specifications & designs with colleagues, often including those from other engineering disciplines;
- Discussing and solving problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers;
- Managing/delivering projects
- Project planning
- Project cost control
- Assisting in producing estimates
- Working as part of a team
- Produce Method Statements & Risk Assessments
- Complying with the companies Quality Management System
- Complying with the companies H&S Procedures
Beneficial if the any/all of the following were held:-
Appointed person (lifting operations)
HND Construction Management
Standard First Aid at Work 4 Day
Confined Space Entry Procedures with Escape sets
CSCS Card
CITB 5 Day Site Managers Safety Training (SMSTS)
DOMS
Water Hygiene Certificate
