Description
I am currently seeking a number of contract Mechanical Design Engineers to work with my client based in the Huddersfield/North West England area.
Some key information regarding the position is as follows:
The Company
My client specialises in the provision of medium to large scale gearboxes and systems for the Defence, Industrial, Oil & Gas and Nuclear industries.
They are a well established company with a UK site that has been open for more than 100 years, with 3 others around the UK also.
Skills Required
*I am ideally seeking candidates that have experience using SolidEdge. However, other CAD packages will be considered Dependent on relevant design experience
*I am seeking candidates that are also able to create and modify designs and calculations for large equipment.
*Ideally, you will also have experience in designing moving parts, rotational equipment (shafts, bearings, gears, automation machinery etc).
PLEASE NOTE
These positions will require you to undergo vetting for UK Security Clearance to SC level as these positions are for "UK Eyes Only" projects. I am therefore unable to accept any candidates that are not eligible for UK security clearance to SC level. Current clearance is not required.
