2 x SQL Server DBA's - BristolSQL DBA - SQL Server 2005, 2008 & 2012, SSRS, T-SQL,
Computer Futures require 2 x SQL Server DBA's for a market leading organisation based in Bristol.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to provide technical expertise in the day to day administration, implementation, and maintenance of IT services, primarily in the development and administration of MS SQL databases.
Job Responsibilities
- Providing technical expertise on all IT related matters.
- Development and administration tasks relating to MSSQL databases within the Windows domain environment; creating, troubleshooting, capacity planning, performance monitoring, maintenance and backup strategy.
- Designing database architecture to meet the needs of the business.
- Assisting with development of server architecture & core networking services where applicable within the team.
- Other tasks as directed by the Head of IS or Database Manager.
Knowledge & Skills
- Server experience (2005 and 2008; 2012 experience desirable)
- Database Backup and Recovery
- Data Migration
- MSSQL and T-SQL
- SSRS
