Project Accountant - Balance Sheet Management

We are currently looking to recruit a Project Accountant to work for an international financial organisation in the centre of Edinburgh. We are looking for an experienced Project Accountant with a strong knowledge of balance sheet management.
Principle responsibilities;
- Working with the existing Balance Sheet Management Manager to ensure balance sheet and NII behaviour is modelled correctly in line with Market Risk policy and best use is made of QRM functionality.
- Provide support to existing Balance Sheet Management Manager on analysis of output and potential implications for management of interest rate risk.
- Responsibility for the development and maintenance of the data feeds to ensure that the feeds can be built accurately and efficiently into QRM.
- Provide guidance and training to key stakeholders on the Balance Sheet Management model.
- Responsible for the monitoring and management of Balance Sheet Management teams EWI's.
- Managing supplier relationship with QRM and ensuring support and service provision mets expectation.
- Managing service relationship with IT.
Desired skills, knowledge and experience;
- Qualified accountant
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Well organised and able to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Highly numerate, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Strong modelling background, with knowledge of complex formula building.
- Background in Asset and Liability Management (ALM) and general Balance Sheet Management an advantage.
