Description
The candidate will be responsible for: combustion and air system development, cycle simulation, data analysis, and engine test coordination for select gas engine programs. This position will also provide technical support for the lab, factory, and field tests. The candidate must interface effectively with internal and external suppliers and the other team members on the gas engine development team.SKILLS:
Qualifications:
- BSME or equivalent
- Experience with engine performance development
- Experience with the creation and use of engine cycle simulation models
- Solid interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative and innovation
- MSME or equivalent
- 3D combustion simulation experience
- Engine testing
- Experience with GT-Power
- Familiarity with turbochargers and air system development and optimization
- A strong understanding of 6 Sigma methodologies
