The following are just some of the job responsibilities:- Reviewing claim activity based upon industry best practices and assessing compliance of best practices
- Developing strategies on Legacy claims (older than 12 months) to either bring claim to resolution or control costs
- Evaluating reserve and settlement exposure
- Reviewing appropriateness of legal strategy
SKILLS:
REQUIRED:
Two years of experience adjusting lost-time WC claims and/or experience with litigated GL claims - this is more advanced than medical-only adjusting. Should be well-versed in lost-time claims, to include high-dollar settlement negotiations, litigation strategy, and MSAs.
