Commercial Analyst - Online Retail - Greater Manchester
My client, a global online retail company, is urgently seeking a Commercial & Pricing Analyst to join their team in Greater Manchester.
This person will be responsible for all aspects of pricing, modelling, commercial analysis and routine financial reporting at month end.
Key Experience
- At least 5 years post qualified experience with wide financial management and reporting experience encompassing pricing and modelling techniques.
- Experience in a fast moving and dynamic commercial organisation operating as a Senior Analyst.
- Sector experience includes eCommerce, Retail, Media, B2B or closely related.
Education & Skills
- Graduate level education with demonstrable academic success
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, confident with all types of data
- Preparing monthly management pack
- Preparing and maintaining budget and forecast bridges
- Preparing monthly forecasts working closely with relevant stakeholders
- Performing monthly P&L reviews and provide high quality analysis and commentary for variances
- Enhancing and driving our pricing models for fulfilment, call centre and work for hire projects
- Providing financial support on RFP, RFQ and new product launches
- Implement pricing policies and processes to ensure governance
- Scenario modelling
- Strong focus on systems and reporting is a major requirement.
