Communications and Engagement Executive - Internal - External - Events management - Stakeholder - Agency management

Our major Energy provider client requires a Communications and Engagement Executive to join their team in Hove or East Grinstead on an initial 3 month contract basis to support the smart meter programme by managing and executing approved communications campaigns


  • To support the team by managing the creation and deployment of updated and new Operational Communications
  • Manage communication plans and work with Customer Experience team to keep abreast of new work coming in for team to plan resource
  • Develop and manage Smart key messages and FAQs, for internal and external audiences, ensuring alignment.
  • Engage with Marketing to ensure current customer insight and smart customer propositions are incorporated into campaign development


  • Internal and external communications experience
  • Experience planning, delivering and deploying external Comms - working with key business divisions, external stakeholders and suppliers/agencies
  • Events and project management experience
  • Customer acquisition and retention experience
  • Degree level (marketing, PR or communications related)
  • Experience working on smart metering programmes or within the utilities sector
