Construction of new links, rerouting, changing or closing existing links

The function
Middleware Specialist If you are the spider in the web between all the applications within the client. You take care of the links between different platforms (Windows, Linux, UNIX, z/OS, etc.) and/or applications. For the laying of the links use is made of MQ, Direct Connect. You manage these links, which means that you monitor them and where necessary, intervene immediately.
Also expected of you to share your knowledge with colleagues and thinks within large projects, such as the implementation of filtering accrual movement abroad. You work in a complex and progressive ICT environment. In this role you carry a big responsibility and you get plenty of space to bring new ideas and innovative.

The team Connections falls within the Cloud Provisioning of IT Operations Infrastructure Services Department (IS). This team manages the entire MQ and Connect: Direct environment on all platforms. Characteristic of the services this team provides the required high availability of service coupled with the high volumes of messages between the different applications and/or platforms, for example, the (international) SWIFT messages. Connections is a self-organizing team of IT professionals that share knowledge with each other, daily commitment to continuous organization the best out of themselves in the heart of our IT, to find each other and together implement improvements.
Job requirements are a must:
A bachelor degree in IT direction;
3-10 years relevant work experience in a (large) ICT environment;
Experience in management and change processes;
Experience with Middleware products (MQ, Connect Direct);
Knowledge of IT processes such as ITIL and Prince 2.
