Position Description:

The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for providing day to day professional desktop support. This may include but are not limited to the following: installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal Workstation performance; troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, via email, or remote access) in a timely and accurate fashion.

Qualifications:

2- 4 years experience supporting Windows OS and Mac OS both desktop/laptop PCs

Experience installing, and troubleshooting MS Office 2010 & 2011 & 2013, (O365)

Experience providing Deskside support as well as Helpdesk support

Experience troubleshooting software, hardware and mobile device issues for both desktop, laptop PCs and IOS devices, Androids and Blackberry devices

Experience installing software, patches, updates on Desktops, Laptops, and Mobile devices

Experience troubleshooting basic network, software, printing problems

Ability to lift up to 70lbs occasionally

Customer Service Experience a must

Individual must possess high initiative and the ability to work independently
