Our major client within Asset Management has an urgent opening for a Core Java developer on a long running contract basis to be based from their Pasadena, California offices. This role is to start ASAP.The candidate will have an extensive background in developing robust, multithreaded, core Java built financial applications, ideally with Fixed Income/portfolio management systems.
Key skills needed:
-Core Java software development
-Multithreading, EJB, Java Swing
-Distributed systems experience, SOA
-REST/SOAP and JMS
-Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
-Experience of working within an agile environment
-JBoss or Weblogic
-Maven, Ant, CVS, Subversion and Continuous Integration build environments would be highly beneficial.
