Triage Case Manager -regulations - 6 months initially - circa £500 per day - Canary Wharf

This specialist supervision team is responsible for assessing and mitigating issues arising from circa 20,000 small firms. These issues will vary greatly in size and context and the role will involve liaising with a number of different stakeholders both internally and externally.

Your tasks will be varied and could involve any of the following:-
Fraud and Risk
Bankruptcy
Capital resources deficiency
Whistle blowing
Regulator investigations

The role will involve:
Identifying high risk events requiring urgent action and assign it to an appropriate supervisor with a clear explanation of the risk
Close events that are within the companies risk tolerance or where no breach of regulations has occurred with a clear rationale
Review open cases to ensure a quick response to events, with an approach that is proportionate, providing feedback to supervisors and management as appropriate
Conduct secondary analysis of data that feeds the risk profiler tool, and horizon scan for issues and trends
Identify process improvements and in-put into quality assurance work

You will have:
Proven experience of analysing large amounts of complex information and identifying key risks and solutions
Proven experience of making difficult decisions supported by a sound rationale
Proven ability of balancing and managing competing priorities, working independently and in a team
Strong written skills

Essential
An ability to link analysis of conduct risks to pragmatic and effective mitigation tools
An ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst exercising sound judgement
Strong influencing and impact skills- you will be required to deliver difficult messages and to display confidence in your decision making but being open to challenge and feedback
A willingness to learn and develop, taking on new responsibilities and adopting a flexible pragmatic approach to your work
An ability to present yourself and the company in a professional and credible manner

This divsion will be looking for multiple people within a contract and permanent capacity
