Main Purpose:
  • Development new functionality, enhancements and reports for the Oracle 11i EBS solution. This may include minor medications to existing customer objects through to development of new custom objects for inclusion in new business processes.
  • To provide global technical support of Oracle 11i EBS solution. This may include assisting with resolving and troubleshooting production issues at a technical or functional level, assisting users with transaction flow and occasional informal end user training.


  • Candidate should have a good understanding of the functional and technical aspects of the Oracle application modules (Financial and distribution modules, knowledge of manufacturing modules will be a plus). Candidates should be proficient in SQL, PL/SQL and writing and modifying Oracle Reports.

    Functions of the role:
    • Development of reports, alerts and form customisations to business requirements across a range of modules (OM,PO,INV,GL,AP,AR,WIP,BOM etc.)
    • Support users with use of Oracle Applications 11i Financial modules (GL, AP, AR)
    • Knowledge of Oracle applications 11i Distribution modules (OM, PO, INV)
    • Assist with resolving and troubleshooting production issues at a functional level.
    • Able to research production issues using metalink and other resources before proposing solutions.
    • Provide support with analysing transaction flow


    Additional Functions (Nice to have):
    • Should have experience in support of Oracle Applications 11i One or more year's 11i experience preferred
    • Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL programming
    • Able to follow development procedures and practices
    • Must be a self-starter who is a customer focused team player with the ability to identify and resolve issues
    • Requires good communication, organisation, time management and solution oriented skills.
