Are you looking for your next SSRS contract to take you over the Xmas period? Are you available at very short notice, to step into a challenging role that will see you develop your SQL skills, and gain exposure to the .NET framework?One of my accounts are looking to add an extra contractor to their 5 strong team of developers to get through the Xmas period. They develop an application that allows the migration of legacy data from analogue based pumping systems, to new, digital systems, for one of the largest utilities clients in the UK.
The contract will run for an initial 5 months, and will pay in the region of £250 P/D, DoE.
They are looking for someone who -
- Can develop SSRS reports from a static data source
- Can query SQL databases using T-SQL
- Understands WPF, VB.NET and C#
- Is comfortable testing the work that they develop
- Is quite happy working in a team where the pace is very fast, and where you will be expected to think on your feet
- Is comfortable making quick decisions and meeting multiple deadlines at once
They are looking for an experienced SQL developer with strong skills in SSRS, and in return offer an exciting project with scope for multiple extentions. You will be working with a team that I have placed into the business - they're a top bunch of people that regularly socialise together after work, and offer a very different working atmosphere than a normal contract team!
