Description
Contract Mechanical CAD designer sought by an international Subsea Oil and Gas company for their office in Cumbria, working under a Mechanical Design Engineer using Pro Engineer to create engineering drawings.The Company:
- Part of one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies
- Specialising in the design and manufacture of subsea components
The Role:
- Creating 3D mechanical layouts using Pro Engineer
- Geometric tolerance utilisation
- Working within industry standards
The Candidate:
- Ideally HNC/D qualified followed by an apprenticeship
- High level of 2D and 3D design ability (preferably using Pro E, Creo, Wild fire)
- Experience of geometric tolerancing
- Working to ISO/BS drafting methods
- Knowledge of mechanical/eletrical components
- Ability to design complex mechanical assemblies
The Contract:
- 12 months
- 45 hours per week
- Flexibility on working hours
