Position: Operational Excellence Project Leader

Team: OPEX & Operations Support

Reporting to: Director, Engineering and Operational Excellence

Role: Pharmaceutical company based in Clare/Limerick area are currently recruiting for a Operational Excellence Project Leader for an initial 1 year contract. Working as part of the OPEX team you will lead and deploy Operational Excellence best practices throughout the organisation by supporting our Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, improving manufacturing and business processes, and supporting the organisation in meeting our quality, cost and efficiency objectives.

Responsibilities include:
* You will partner with Site Leaders, Management and Business Process Managers to develop a portfolio of CI projects that are aligned with the site goals and objectives and facilitate decision making and recommend best options to management based on business case cost/benefit analyses. and
* You will train and mentor individuals and teams to drive OPEX initiatives across the organization to leverage the certification of White Belts, Green Belt and Black Belt candidates.
* Acts as advisor, trainer, coach and catalyst for change, through formal and informal training and education, facilitation of Kaizen events, and deployment of alignment mechanisms that drive focus, accountability, and sustainability.

Qualifications/Experience:
* Degree or equivalent in business, engineering, physical sciences or technical discipline
* 5-10 years in a business or technical role with 3-5 years of that time in a Continuous Improvement, management or coaching & mentoring role.
* Minimum requirement to be a Lean Six Sigma Black belt

Skills Required:
* Proficient in the use of project management tools with proven strong project management skill set
* The ability to effectively work with teams and management stakeholders to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and resources to successful completion.
* Demonstrated proficiency in strategic thinking, change management, facilitation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Salary depends on experience and discussed on application + excellent benefits starting day 1 of contract.
